Since his admission to the Texas bar in 1965, Mr. Lipshy has held numerous directorships, been the managing partner of large law practices, as well as the chairman, president and CEO of various entities including the Zale Corporation over a nearly 40-year span. While achieving these goals, Mr. Lipshy also pursued in earnest civic and philanthropic endeavors including the Zale Lipshy University Hospital, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, and the Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Criminal Justice, to name just a few.
